I'm writing this as therapy. It contains some very painful and rather horrific memories, so if you don't want to read this, I totally understand. That is why I'm putting it behind an lj-cut.

And, I think I'm going to stop with the story of what happened. The rest is just too painful to write about right now. It's been years. You would think I would get over it, but every year I slip into a depression in May. This year, I'm going to take a road trip with my dog and hope it helps to get out of the state for a while.

This was created with my daughter and son-in-law in mind. They are both unique and whole people alone, but they are better together. They complete each other, just like coffee and cream. (This picture was done to commemorate his homecoming from Afghanistan).
Persephone was a bit late arriving this year.
